Network former mixing effects in alkali germanotellurite glasses: A vibrational spectroscopic study
Published in Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2021
Raman and infrared spectroscopy reveal structural rearrangements when germanate and tellurite networks are mixed. The study examines how changes in network connectivity and ion binding may offset one another, helping explain the different conductivity trends observed for lithium- and sodium-containing glasses.
